Sr. Test Analyst


This is a Contract position in Aurora, CO posted January 2, 2020.

We’re hiring multiple Test Analysts for our Fortune 500 financial services client.

These roles are based in Greenwood Village, CO (or Omaha, NE).

The Analysts will be assigned to the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS), working with operations and maintenance teams to develop test plans, scenarios, cases, and execute testing that is supporting production operations.

Specifically, supporting integration of data used for fraud prevention through web application user behavior and device analytics.

Additionally, the Test Analyst will be supporting other web application and mainframe verifications after environments are changed or upgraded.

The Test Analyst swill be working with a team of 6 to 8 people and needs to be available after hours for production verification two to three times a month.

The EFTPS environment is a tightly controlled and a regulated environment therefore process, documentation, and accountability (i.e.

paperwork) require more attention than normally expected for the payments and financial services industries.

MUST HAVES: Test planning and execution experience Midrange, client/server web application testing experience Midrange Oracle testing environments ETL (data integration) testing Must be US Citizen or Green Card holders due to the government-related environment NICE TO HAVES: IBM mainframe application & batch job testing background CA 7 job scheduling exposure Big Data (Hadoop) desired Tosca automation testing experience Midrange (IBM Websphere, Web Application Firewall) infrastructure configuration testing Testing 3rd party fraud detection and device tracking and device finger printing/identification Per the hiring manager: Candidates should be solid QA Testers for both project work and the operations/maintenance environment they’ll be working.

Resumes should address the following: database, big data, ETL, web application, test case management tools, automation, and domain knowledge (fraud, payments, API testing, etc.).

This is a 6-month contract with the expectation to extend and/or convert to direct hire.

RATE: $42.00
– $47.90/hr.
