Software Implementation Specialist
– Houston, TX Direct-Hire Job Overview The Software Implementation Specialist is responsible for the successful onboarding of new customer accounts.

Act as the point of contact for customers during project implementation.

Oversees training and ensures the quality of the program throughout the implementation and provides support to ensure the accurate and timely implementation of the Pharmacy Management System.

Supports customers during the transition from implementation to ongoing support.

Essential Responsibilities Conducts initial workflow assessment of newly assigned accounts Ensures all necessary information is gathered from client to meet key performance indicators and project objectives Oversee day-to-day tasks during all phases of a client implementation and on-going support Serve as a single point of contact during the Deployment Cycle for the customer Develop and maintain implementation documentation for internal resource use as well as customer use Management of customer expectations Responsible for working with external and internal resources to drive the successful completion of a project Provide routine project status updates to the client and team members Coordinate activities with the customer, 3rd party partners and other team members as necessary Assist in customer application configuration, implementation and data conversion Assist customer in application testing and rollout Conduct end-user training for staff andor management to ensure a smooth installation process and minimize post-installation support requirements Required travel based on client needs Remote Work is not authorized.

Exceptions can be made with prior manager approval Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or five years of experience in the Information Technology field Three to four years of experience in phone support in the IT Field Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the hardware and software field Working knowledge of pharmacy workflow Familiarity working in a virtual environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to speak effectively before customers and employees, both in person and on the phone Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently, manage workload and meet deadlines required Ability to work in a dynamic, highly demanding environment that routinely involves exposure to highly sensitive personal medical information Understanding of and commitment to appropriate protection of confidential patient information Strong customer service and interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team Intermediate level computer skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook Pharmacy experience preferred
