Part-Time Apple Support Technician

This is a Part-time position in Monroe County, IN posted January 15, 2020.

Department SICE ADMINISTRATION (BL-INAD-IUBLA) Job Summary Provides support for faculty, staff, and student Apple systems under the supervision and direction of the Apple systems administrators of the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering (LUDDY).

Assists with support issues related to laptops, desktops, and iPads.

Helps to triage service tickets and securely wipe old systems for surplus.

Assists in system builds, helps to update MacOS systems that show up on our MDM server lists, and keeps Apple information up to date in our Hardware Database.

Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED.

Possess a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured by Indiana University.

Ability to interact positively in a team atmosphere.

Knowledge of Apple systems and basic support protocols.

Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and skills.

Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

Working Conditions / Demands Must have ability to lift 30 pounds.

Advertised Salary Starting pay is $15 per hour.

Work Hours Position is scheduled for 25-29 hours per week.
