To help us share Fullstacks success with the world and find the best bootcamp students, were looking for a Cybersecurity (Part-Time) Instructor to help transform the lives of our students, and through them, their communities and economies.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Cybersecurity (Part-Time) Instructor for the part-time cybersecurity program will collaborate and work closely with the Cybersecurity Program Director to ensure program quality and work with Program Leads to schedule/coordinate program(s) serving as liaison between technical/instructional staff, program administrator(s), and program leader(s).This role is based out of our New York City Headquarters and reports to the Lead Instructor for Fullstack Cyber Bootcamp.

RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will work with the Program Director and Program Lead to:Instructional duties (50%)Lead instruction for the part-time cybersecurity program in New York City, including leading whole-class lectures, activity-based learning workshops and labs, and project-based experiential learning Work with students 1-on-1, in pairs and in groups to support their learning and growth in the program Create a positive, professional, and inclusive learning environment for our students to ensure an exceptional student experience that engages, inspires and prepares students for their careers as security analysts Engage in delivering on your programs WOW moments and partner with Program Lead(s) and Program Director(s) to identify new ways to wow our students Work with the cybersecurity academic team to build an introductory 4-hour hands-on cybersecurity course, then teach it on one Saturday each month (for the first 6 months, before handing off this responsibility to another instructor)Management duties (25%)Support the management of the team of part-time cybersecurity instructors at our university partner programs (i.e.

support performance reviews for the Program Director, meetings, instructional coaching and curriculum training)Support the recruiting and interviewing of prospective part-time cybersecurity instructors and instructional associates, and onboard/train them when they startFacilitate Agile practices with teams: weekly planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog groomingCollaborate across teams to ensure that student feedback is heard and that the organization responds properlyProactively identify areas of improvement within the student experience, curriculum, instructional support, and communicate with Program leadership about ongoing successes and challenges.Routinely partner with Team Lead(s) across other Fullstack programs to cross-pollinate best practices that will elevate all programsSupport the successful attainment of their programs quarterly and annual academic Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Curricular duties (25%)Document academic performance, build and manage instructional content, and assist with instructional tool developmentFacilitate decision-making, issue resolution and consensus among curriculum and instructional team(s)Work with the Director of Curriculum and Training to strategize/implement curricular changes by keeping up to date on ever-changing industry trends and technology ecosystems, emerging technologies, and other resourcesAssure quality for part-time cybersecurity curriculum materials and identify areas for improvementQUALIFICATIONS You are a great candidate if you have:2 years of cybersecurity work experienceOSCP certificationA passion for the cybersecurity industry and for helping othersA desire to work in a fast-moving, high-profile startup environment with a high degree of ownership and independenceA passion for the cybersecurity industry and a desire to be part of growing the careers of a diverse new generation of cybersecurity professionalsExperience teaching ie: working at a bootcamp, TAing in college, creating educational content via YouTube, mentoring junior developers, volunteer teaching, or prior experience as a teacher are all great experienceExceptional organizational skills and strong familiarity with management tools (ei.
