is searching for 2 Cybersecurity Analysts.

DSA, Inc seeks a cybersecurity analyst to provide cybersecurity and information security services to the United States Air Force (USAF) Air Education and Training Command (AETC) Program Management Office for TIMS and GTIMS support.

This is a full-time position located at our customer site at JBSA Randolph, San Antonio, TX.

Additional duties will focus on technical and architecture/organizational design/vision to achieve the planned GTIMS/TIMS cloud service delivery model as well as business process re-engineering activities.

Duties and responsibilities are at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, TX, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM
– 4:30 PM with variable/flex hours available based on the customer’s requirements.

The candidate will ensure all required Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) are run and results uploaded into eMASS, as well as coordinating any required updates to the topologies and hardware/software listings for the two systems.

In addition, the candidate will conduct, document and upload Cybersecurity Analyses into eMASS for any changes proposed to the systems.

The candidate will also work closely with the AETC Recruit Train and Educate (RT&E) Authorizing Official (AO) Support Staff who provide security control validation and security assessment support activities leading up to the ATO decisions.

The candidate will also provide Information Assurance (IA) and RMF consulting and advice to the Program Manager and other contractors providing System Development Life Cycle support for the two systems.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: 5 years of security experience in either the defense industry or Info Systems Security, or a combination of both Knowledge of information systems security components and best practices including; firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, data encryption, and other Industry standard techniques and practices Understanding and hands-on working knowledge of the RMF implemented within eMASS as well as possession of an IAM Level I Certification (CAP, GSLC, Security CE) IAW DoD 8570.01-M are mandatory.

Experience developing or editing a variety of organizational and system policies and procedures required show compliance with RMF security controls and System Development Life Cycle sustainment.

Ability to effectively communicate with technical, management and administrative personnel to ensure government IA requirements are understood and implemented to the greatest extent possible.

Demonstrable knowledge and direct, recent DoD Cybersecurity experience including familiarity with Federal, DoD and AF IT security requirements is essential.

Knowledge of an experience in performing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and conducting scans and analysis Experience with and knowledge of: Creating/updating DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF) views and other physical and logical topology diagrams and flows in Visio and other diagramming tools.

Authority to Connect requirements and Risk Management Framework MS Office Suite to include proficiency in Visio & Project; virtual computing both at the PC & server levels Must possess a secret level clearance.

Department of Defense (DoD) courses related to government security Experience with AF TIMS or GTIMS software NIST and ISO27) Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework Experience with Security Directives, Policies, Publications and Regulations including but not limited to the NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, JSIG and/or ICD 503 Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) experience Technical knowledge/background in router, switches, servers, databases and their operational interdependencies (IP addressing and port connections).

Experience creating, tracking and updating Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M items for non-compliant security controls) Ability to construct and apply repeatable processes to the work environment.

Security (Required) Bachelor s degree in IT Systems Engineering or related field (Desired) Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification (Desired) MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD CLEARANCE ; this will be verified prior to interview.
