Business Analyst/ Product Manager – San Antonio, TX

Join us The Clinical Business Analyst/Product Manager is responsible for analysis, process and solution design for the Specialized Clinical Program (SCP) Division of Medical Management.

The position provides support to the SCP Leadership team, team management, and team members through process analysis and improvements.

The role works with technology to scope work, provide requirements and coordinate user testing and acceptance.

The person will develop workflows, document and develop standard operating procedures using industry standard tools and concepts, and works with Training resources to develop curriculum and coursework to train staff.

The role is able to analyze data, and to provide input based on data to drive reporting solutions that measure productivity, outcomes, process adherence, and compliance.

The role leverages Care Management experience or industry analysis practices to improve processes, technology and outcomes for the department.

Primary Responsibilities: Ability to solve business problems, driving changes in workflow, technology and reporting Build relationships, with the ability to influence effectively within the department Works independently and takes initiative, under the direction of department leaders and with the support of program management community of practice Ability to influence change and innovation through collaboration and teamwork Ability to analyze table data to determine trends, find problems, report outcomes Works through issues and roadblocks with internal and external stakeholders to reach amicable solutions that balance the needs of all parties Collaborates with project managers, program managers, business analysts, training teams, and other stakeholders to ensure inputs, processes and outputs are captured and maintained for effective implementation Utilizes process improvement methodologies (DMAIC) to develop cases for improvements Assists in the development and execution of project deliverables and timelines related to implementation activities Experience with Staffing Models, Budgets, Workforce management Works with key members of other departments to facilitate internal and external processes Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested Resolves work problems to ensure quality customer service is delivered May coordinate small project activity to drive delivery; prepares draft agendas for review; issues agendas with appropriate backup materials; takes minutes, and provides follow-up correspondence Attends educational offerings to keep abreast of change and comply with position requirements Understands the complexity within functions, across the business, between clinic, market and central services roles supporting patient care Performs all other related duties as assigned You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or 4 Additional years of Clinical Analysis, Clinical Operations, or Clinical Case Management Experience in addition to what is outlined below in lieu of degree requirement 3 years of Clinical Analysis, Clinical Operations, or Clinical Case Management Experience Lean Six Sigma or PMP Certification or equivalent Experience with Process Improvement methods and practice.

Intermediate Level MS Word and Excel skill Experience with Staffing Models, Budgets, Workforce management Advanced level problem solving capabilities needed to identify issues, and to work on solution designs related to process, technology and data Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree or Higher SQL capability, to analyze data, and help drive technology requirements for reporting and application development Detail-oriented and ability to identify potential risk or problems and find resolution Ability to influence group relationships with diverse geographic locations, skills and level of understanding of company processes and policy Able to identify complex organizational situations with ability with management to anticipate obstacles and plan appropriate approach Able to influence and interact comfortably with all levels of professional and line level staff.
